More Michigan Drawings...

Around six years ago I made these in life drawing classes, zoos, and poverty. Now you can laugh at them. Enjoy! (Notice how in these drawings I'm more concerned with the outline of the object, filling it in with pretty shading, versus actually constructing the form--a common problem I've noticed with alot of people who come out of art school.)

good 'ol sight line construction. useful, until the model moves. it does have it's purpose (just shouldn't be taught as the main way to draw observationally).

yeah, doesn't it though? oh my god it was a sad day when matt emptied that thing. Even sadder when I had to get rid of it (even though it needed to done--I sometimes get overly sentimental about that stuff)
